How to use this table
Each row gives the address the government itself runs, the fee the government charges, and the official page we checked. We opened every source before publishing this page. Fees change, so check the official page before you pay.
Many private websites copy the look of these services. The Hong Kong Consumer Council found agency sites that looked like official ones and charged several times the official fee 9. If the address in your browser does not match the one below, close the page.
Official addresses and fees for 20 schemes

Arrival cards are free
Digital arrival cards are not visas. They replace the paper card you once filled in on the plane. The governments in this table that run them say they cost nothing.
Thailand's tourism ministry says TDAC registration is “completely free of charge” and can only be done on the Immigration Bureau site 4. Singapore's ICA says SG Arrival Card submission is free and that paid helpers are not linked to it 5. The Philippines eTravel site says “eTravel is FREE” 6.
In Malaysia, the immigration director at Kuala Lumpur airport said in November 2024 that some sites charged up to RM300 to register an MDAC, when no charge applies 25. Indonesia's customs agency said filling in All Indonesia is “sepenuhnya gratis”, which means completely free 27.
Fees that changed recently
The US ESTA fee rose from US$21 to US$40 on 30 September 2025 31. It became US$40.27 on 1 January 2026 32 and US$40.62 on 16 October 2026 2.

The EU set the ETIAS fee at €20 instead of €7. The Commission says the new fee takes effect once ETIAS is running 7.
Signs you are on the right site
- The address ends in the government domain shown in the table, such as .gov.uk, .gov, .gc.ca or .go.th.
- Singapore's ICA says its official addresses always contain “.ica.gov.sg” 26.
- Indonesia's immigration service says official government sites end in .go.id 8.
- The price matches the official fee above. A higher price usually means a middleman.
- The site does not promise faster approval. GOV.UK says you cannot get a faster ETA decision through another website or app 10.
Common questions
Can a private website charge more than the official fee?
A middleman can add a service charge. Under the ETIAS rules, commercial intermediaries may apply for travellers, and any charge above the official fee goes to them 33. The trouble starts when a site hides that it is private.
Do I need to pay for a digital arrival card?
No, for the cards in this table. Thailand 4, Singapore 5 and the Philippines 6 say their arrival cards are free.
Can I apply for ETIAS now?
The Commission page dated 6 October 2025 says ETIAS is not in operation and no applications are collected. It says the EU will announce the start date several months ahead 7.
How much is the US ESTA in October 2026?
US$40.62 for an approved authorisation from 16 October 2026. A denied application costs US$10.62 2.
